PREAMBLE

The SSB Central Hospital & Research Centre Limited (SSB) was incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 on 26th December 2007. It was established in the year 2007 as QRG Central Hospital. The facility is located in the heart of the city of Faridabad and has recently been named as SSB Central Hospital & Research Center Limited (SSB).

The Company provides advanced, comprehensive, and personalized treatment in all major disciplines with a dedicated team of specialists and super-specialists. Within a short span of time, the Company has been able to treat patients with diversified health issues and medical needs not only from Delhi-NCR and Haryana but also from Pan-India and international locations with great satisfaction. The Hospital has 24×7 emergency facilities to cater to patients of all specialty fields.

FINANCIAL RESOURCES

At least 2% of the average net profits made during the three immediately preceding financial years shall be spent on CSR programs as per the Companies Act, 2013.

CONCEPT

The Company shall strive to improve the quality of life of people through CSR activities at Corporate Office / Head Office and/or Operating Stations.

SCOPE

The Company shall endeavor to contribute to sustainable development including sanitation, public health, education, infrastructure development, skill development and welfare of society.

OBJECTIVES

CSR objectives shall integrate social goals aligned with sustainable development and in conformity with the corporate and business plans of the Company.

INSTITUTIONAL SET-UP

Internal Organizational Structure

Corporate Office / Head Office

The CSR official at the Corporate Office shall be responsible for policy formulation, approvals, allocation of funds, monitoring and reporting.

Operating Station / Site

The Head of the Operating Station shall be responsible for selection, implementation, monitoring and
reporting of CSR activities including physical and financial progress.

PLANNING

  • Identification of CSR projects and activities.
  • Preference to undertake CSR activities in the periphery of operating stations.
  • Integration of social and environmental concerns with business objectives.

IDENTIFICATION OF PROGRAMMES

  1. Eradicating hunger, poverty and malnutrition
  2. Promoting preventive healthcare and sanitation
  3. Providing safe drinking water
  4. Promoting education
  5. Employment enhancing vocational skills
  6. Livelihood enhancement projects
  7. Promoting gender equality and empowering women
  8. Setting up homes, hostels, old age homes and day care centers
  9. Facilities for senior citizens and socially backward groups
  10. Environmental sustainability and conservation of natural resources
  11. Protection of national heritage, arts and culture
  12. Promotion of traditional arts, handicrafts and sports
  13. Rural development projects
  14. Any other project approved by competent authority

BUDGET

CSR budget allocation shall be planned annually at the Corporate Office / Head Office level.

IMPLEMENTATION

CSR activities shall be implemented by operating stations in consultation with stakeholders and monitored by Corporate Office. The Business Unit Head and CSR officials shall be responsible for execution at respective levels.

MONITORING

A two-tier monitoring mechanism shall be followed at Corporate Office and Operating Station levels.

REPORTING

An annual CSR report shall be compiled and submitted to the Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
